Concerns over the future of the Knot of Rope as it was reported as being closed and is believed to be re-opened in future as an eatery.

 The Queens Head in Nailsea is being bought by the owners of Hawkes House.

 The landlord of the Railway Tavern in Charfield is leaving.

 Brewery News

 Next brew session at the Salutation is 2nd April (Wiper and True).

 A visit to Combined Brewers is now possible, details to be agreed and shared in future by MF.

 A visit to Uley Brewery was also discussed.

Socials

 The Gloucester Road pub crawl went well on Saturday February 27th, which included several members of B&D CAMRA.

 The Horseshoe (Chipping Sodbury) will replace the Old Spot (Dursley) Socials due to the change of bus timetables and general reliability of the service. There may be some trips to the Old Spot by exception. Contact John Gatty for details.

 There was no change announced in either beer or cider duty in this year’s Budget.

 Bristol Beer Festival suggestions  to be fed back to the organisers by MF when the wash up meeting is arranged (all raised by JG)were:

                Open 30 minutes early to allow people to browse beers/review the programme/get tables & chairs in a similar way  that large shops that are subject to Sunday trading restrictions open early.

Alternatively distribute programmes to people waiting in the queue before the session opens. A "tear off" should be added to the festival ticket to indicate who has received  a programme or who needs one when entering the festival.

                Glass cleaning facilities in addition to sinks in the toilets.
